The jungles are teeming with wildlife and the jungle rivers are loaded with big fish, like tarpon up to 200 lbs, snook to 40 lbs, and many more. We fish in Bluefields Bay, Bluefields Lagoon, and Rio Escondido, Nicaragua in Central America.. Also, we have several offshore fishing keys that are excellent for blue water fishing. The keys are located all within minutes of the lodge. KingFish, Mackrel, Jacks, African Pompano, snapper, jewfish, etc. can all be caught fishing in the blue water.

The Carribean coast of Nicaragua is a vast untouched jungle. There are hidden lagoons where English pirates of the 19th century could evade their persuers. The town of Bluefields is on a lagoon favored by the famous Pirate Henry Morgan.

Rumble in the Jungle fishing lodge is at the feet of rainforests and in front of the Atlantic Ocean, this means that fishing is very conditionated by weather, which is very unprevisible. Anyway the dry season is the best period for fishing in Lagoons and rivers, in this period the water is clear and also low levels and salinity allows to saltwater fishes to enter.  Fishing in Lagoon is great for Giant Tarpon and Snook, even if at the same time you can catch typical saltwater predators like Jacks.

In the rain season fishing in rivers and lagoons became very difficult for high levels of waters and dirty that comes from rainforests. This is a good time for fishing saltwater, few miles outside the lodge, in various keys (Caiman, El Frances, etc.) where you can fish for Barracuda, Jacks, Kingfish and also Baby Tarpon (20-50 lbs). In both sides most of our guests fished trolling, even if baitcasting (spinning and flyfishing) is possible.
